This course is aimed at developing students' awareness of the reading comprehension skills and thinking processes involved in reading. The materials are designed to let the students explore and practice the essential skills necessary in reading comprehension. The topics include acquire some new words in the paragraph, defining the new words using their own words, completing the missing words in the paragraphs, determining and writing topics in the paragraphs, scanning, and critical thinking for about 1000-3000 words.
