Course Descriptions

At the end of the lectures, the students understand about reading comprehension, correctly and responsibly 

Learning Outcomes

SKILL                 : By joining in this course, students are able to conquere 500 to 1.000 words through understanding previewing, skimming,   scanning, reference, inference, vocabularies, and pattern of organization theoretecally and by practice in basic level.

KNOWLEDGE  : On each meeting, the students are taught independently how to understand previewing, skimming, scanning, refence, inference,  vocabularies, and pattern of organization by answering all questions given.

ATTITUDE        : Individually,each student  are taught to show their academic attitude, for example: giving logical reason for each answer of

  questions given to them, responding the lecturer’s correction politely, etc.

Mata Kuliah Reading 2 merupakan mata kuliah lanjutan dari mata kuliah Reading 1. Pada mata kuliah Reading 2 ini para mahasiswa akan mempelajari ketrampilan-keterampilan membaca, seperti: Scanning, Skimming, Finding Topics, Finding Main Ideas, dll secara lebih intensif sebagai persiapan jangkan panjang untuk menghadapi tes TOEFL di akhir perkuliahan mereka nanti. Di akhir perkuliahan Reading 2, para mahasiswa diharapkan mampu menguasai keterampilan-ketrampilan membaca sebagai landasan ilmu untuk mengikuti mata kuliah Reading 3

Learning Outcomes

KETERAMPILAN: dengan mengikuti mata kuliah Reading 2 ini, para mahasiswa diharapkan mampu menguasai keterampilan membaca teks sepanjang 1.000 -3.000 kata melalui pengusaan materi previewing, skimming, scanning, reference, inference, vocabularies, and pattern of organization secara teori dan praktis.

PENGETAHUAN: Pada setiap pertemuan, para mahasiswa diajarkan untuk secara mandiri memahami materi previewing, skimming, scanning, refence, inference, vocabularies, and pattern of organization dengan menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan.

SIKAP : Secara individual, setiap mahasiswa diajarkan untuk menunjukkan sikap akademis mereka, seperti contohnya: memberikan jawaban logis dari setiap pertanyaan yang diberikan, merespon koreksi/perbaikan yang diberikan dosen secara hormat dan santun, dll.
