The course is leading to the effort to develop students’ competence in developing correct, meaningful, and intelligible teaching material. This course covers the lectures on theories covering Principles of Teaching Material Development, KTSP and K13 English Syllabus, The Role and Design of Instructional Material, designing teaching materials for Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing Skills. Classroom activities are focused on lecturing, discussion, (pair & group work), practice and presentation. The course assessment is based on the sum of the students’ attendance, assignments, presentation, and tests.
Learning OutcomesStudents are able to develop correct, meaningful, understandable, and intelligible teaching materials.
