Course Descriptions

Extensive reading is a course dealing with learners reading text for enjoyment and developing general reading skills which helps learners to build reading speed and reading fluency

Learning Outcomes

CPMK1 Explaining the objectives of extensive reading, choosing fiction and nonfiction books

CPMK1 Explaining the objectives of extensive reading, choosing fiction and nonfiction books (S4, KU1, KK1, PP6)  
CPMK2 Identifying vocabulary building by making strategies, learning new words and inferring meaning from context, word parts and collocations (S6, KU1, KK1, PP10)  
CPMK3 Implementing comprehension skills by previewing, making inferences, understanding paragraphs and patterns of organization (S7, KU2, KK2, PP11)  
CPMK4 Analyzing reading longer passages which includes skimming, study reading, summarizing, and critical reading (S8, KU2, KK1,PP14)  
CPMK5 Evaluating fiction and nonfiction reading texts (S9, KU7, KK2,PP14)
