Grammar 3 is given to the third (3rd) semester students as a post intermediate level. This subject focuses on the complex sentences in different tenses and different voices. It is hoped the students are able to communicate in English both in spoken and written forms. The prerequesite subjects are : English Grammar 1 and 2.
Learning Outcomes
After having lecture of English Grammar 3, the students are hoped to be able to: |

EG 3 is given to the third semester students of English Department, After learning this subject, the students will be able to communicate in English at the intermediate level focusing on Complex sentences in different tenses and genre, and concerning with modal auxiliaries, passive voice, sentence forms, noun phrase, and parts of speech. To get this lesson, the students have to master the basic ability relating with tenses provided in EG 2. The aim of this lesson is that the students are able to communicate in English both in written and spoken forms. This refers to professionalsm as English teachers.
Learning OutcomesTo achieve this goal, the students should have the abilities as follows:
1. to identify different types of sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject and compound predicate.
2. to differentiate different types of sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject, and compound predicate.
3, to construct different types of sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject, and compound predicate.
4. to combine simple sentences into complex sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject, and compound predicate.
