Course Descriptions

EG 3 is given to the third semester students of English Department, After learning this subject, the students will be able to communicate in English at the intermediate level focusing on Complex sentences in different tenses and genre, and concerning with modal auxiliaries, passive voice, sentence forms, noun phrase, and parts of speech. To get this lesson, the students have to master the basic ability relating with tenses provided in EG 2. The aim of this lesson is that the students are able to communicate in English both in written and spoken forms. This refers to professionalsm as English teachers.  

Learning Outcomes

To achieve this goal, the students should have the abilities as follows:

1. to identify different types of sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject and compound predicate.

2. to differentiate  different types of sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject, and compound predicate.

3, to construct different types of sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject, and compound predicate.

4. to combine simple sentences into complex sentences in different tenses, voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject, and compound predicate.

5. to construct complex sentences in different tenses voices, sentence forms, including modal auxiliaries, parts of speech, conjunctions, noun phrase, compound subject, and compound predicate.
