Course Descriptions

Listening 2 is given to the second semester students as an intermediate listening. This course enables students to grasp specific information both in word and sentence level from the audio. The students also practice to infer meaning from context, recognize the context and anticipate what will they hear before the audio is played. 

Learning Outcomes

After taking Listening 2 course, students are able to:

CPMK1

Identify certain key information at world level and related vocabularies and expressions (S8, S9, KK3, PP6)

CPMK2

Understand the phrases and longer strings of information at sentence level  (S9, KU2, KK1, KK3, PP6, PP 14)

CPMK 3

Understand the phrases and longer strings of information at sentence level (S9, KU2, KK1, KK3, PP6, PP 14)

CPMK 4

Recognize context from the recording (S9, KU2, KK1, KK3, PP6, PP 14)

 

CPMK 5

Understand what the speaker is really saying between lines (S9, KU2, KK1, KK3, PP6, PP 14)

CPMK 6

Comprehend the information given in detail ((S9, KU2, KK1, KK3, PP6, PP 14)

CPMK 7

Anticipate what they will hear before the recording is played (S8, S9, KK3, PP6)
