Course Descriptions

This course provides students with knowledge and practical aspect of speaking that has gained primacy of status in language teaching and learning. It has an instructional purpose which means teacher’s talk to conduct an entire teaching learning process.

Learning Outcomes

Setelah menyelesaikan pembelajaran mata kuliah Speaking for Instructional Purpose  ini, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu untuk:

CPMK 1

Show ability to understand the importance of the practical course

CPMK 2

Have well-dress during the teaching practice

CPMK 3

Perform gesture, facial expression, eye contact, voice audibility and speed, and stance and body movement in teaching practice properly

CPMK 4

Organize the classroom English that covers opening the lesson, questioning, variability in teaching, giving instruction, explaining and demonstrating, confirming and checking understanding, reinforcing, and ending the lesson

CPMK 5

Evaluate cognitively and metacognitively the quality of his/her teaching practice

CPMK 6

Be ready to accept criticism from peers and lecturer
