RPS (Rencanan Perkuliahan Semester)
This course is aimed to develop students’ reading competence in reading fables,stories using reading techniques (scanning and making inferences) to understand sentences,look for topics, and comprehend paragraphs to improve students’ vocabulary in understanding explicit information by identifying the meaning and the use of unfamiliar lexical items.
Learning OutcomesCPMK1: Find new vocabularies on fables, stories, and books.
CPMK2: Recognize scanning technique (scanning for key words and scanning for information).
CPMK3: Recognize the technique in making inferences.
CPMK4: Identify the important parts of sentences.
CPMK5: Look for topics and comprehend good paragraphs.
CPMK6: Analyze sentences (English sentences).
CPMK7: Identify the topic of the paragraph and make a good paragraph.
