Course Descriptions

This course prepares students to develop the first parts of thesis as academic assignments. The course guides students through the writing process, which requires critical thinking and decision-making in the use of evidence, sources, and rhetorical modes for effective paragraphs. This course assists students to gradually compose their research plan and proposal.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

CPMK1

Complete the first three chapters of their thesis

CPMK2

Understand the reason behind their choices of research paradigm, design, and methods and implement those in their writing

CPMK3

Plan their research, choose participants, instrument, and method of data collections

CPMK4

Address research gaps and choose relevant literature or framework to use in the research;

CPMK5

Compose (create) a research proposal draft and maintain research integrity.
