Course Descriptions

This course provides students with knowledge of translation—theory and practice—to enhance their understanding and skills at translating text by virtue of accuracy of meaning, readability and naturalness

Learning Outcomes

Upon the completion of this course, the students are expected to be able to; 1)understand theory of translation, 2)apply the translation theory, 3)analyze source language text, 4)transfer meaning, message, style of source language text to target language text, 5)conduct mini research in translation, and 6)produce the translation text
