Course Descriptions

Deskripsi Mata Kuliah The course; Statistics is offered to the students at the 6th semester. It is specially designed for the students who want to conduct the data analysis for their research or final project. Statistics is a whole class activity used for teaching educational statistics. It requires students to operate SPSS dealing with: 1.Describing a basic concept of statistics and the functions of statistics in research; 2.One sample t test fundamental concepts; 3.BASIC CONCEPTS OF PAIRED SAMPLE T-TEST; 4.BASIC CONCEPTS OF INDEPENDENT SAMPLE T-TEST

5.DATA ANALYSIS OF EXPERIMENT AND CONTROL CLASS FOR THESIS WITH SPSS; 6.EXPERIMENT & CONTROL CLASS DATA ANALYSIS FOR THESIS WITH SPSS; 7.PEARSON PRODUCT MOMENT VALIDITY TEST FOR QUESTIONNAIRE WITH SPSS; 8.CRONBACH ALPHA RELIABILITY TEST BASIC CONCEPTS; 9.BASIC CONCEPTS OF N-GAIN SCORE TEST; 10.BASIC CONCEPTS OF INDEPENDENT SAMPLE T TEST FOR N GAIN SCORE WITH SPSS; 11.BAR CHART AND FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION TABLE OF N-GAIN SCORE with SPSS; 12.One Way ANOVA Hypothesis Testing. ; 13.Two way anova Part 1.; and14.TWO WAY ANOVA SPPSS TUTORIAL & PRACTICE PART 2. It blends operating SPSS, defining variables, analysing the data

entry, saving the data, and closing SPSS. It engages students by combining the use of statistics with software known as SPSS.

 

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the Statistics course, the students should be able to:

Define the basic concept of statistics and the functions of statistics in research, the relationship between theory and statistics in research, types of statistics (S9, S10, KU1, KU2, KU3, KK1, KK2, PP14)
