Course Descriptions

This course belongs to Genre-Based Translation. In this course, students aim to study how to work out a translation method by which they can analyze how to translate based on text types. It is hoped that  students are able to recognize what it is called linguistic features of SL texts. Then, they are able to create and maintain what they define as meaning in TL texts

Course Descriptions

This course belongs to Genre-Based Translation. In this course, students aim to study how to work out a translation method by which they can analyze how to translate based on types of text. It is hoped that  students are able to recognize what it is called linguistic features of SL texts. Then, they are able to create and maintain what they define as meaning in TL texts.

Learning Outcomes

After finishing this study, students are able:

 

CPMK 1

to do and complete the assignment on time and correctly

CPMK 2

to get the knowledge of genre-based translation.

CPMK 3

to apply the knowledge and skills to recognize linguistic features of various kinds of genre.

CPMK 4

to apply a proper strategy to translate various kinds of text.

CPMK 5

to apply the knowledge and skill to substitute a text in English for a text in Indonesian or viceversa
