Course Descriptions

Speaking 1 is the subject skill that should be mastered by students in the first semester that relates with some basic English expressions dealing with the daily activities

Learning Outcomes

Upon the completion of this course, the students are expected to be able to;

1. communicate with other people using a good behavior and attitude (S7, P13, KU1, KK1)
2. use the behavior in communicating their ideas and thoughts as the social human being (S7, P13, KU1, KK1)
3. communicate in specific activities like; go shopping, giving directions, agreeing and disagreeing, apologizing, etc. (S7, P13, KU1, KK1)
4. help students develop some sociolinguistic research skills. (S4, P2, KU1, KK2)
5. relate and apply what they have learned to English and their speech community. (S4, P2, KU1, KK2)
6. analyze the sociolinguistic study in language education. (S4, P2, KU1, KK2)
