Course Descriptions

This course aimed to develop reading skills in skimming, scanning, making inferences, referencig,, identifying author’s purpose and tone, summarizing, and identifying pattern of organization consist of 3000 – 5000 words of vocabularies.

Learning Outcomes

CPMK 1

prepare the reading materials including references/books.

CPMK 2

determine spesific information in variuos texts (S8, S9, KU1, KU2, KK1, PP1, PP6)

CPMK 3

determine topic and main idea of the texts correctly (S9, KU1, KU2, KK1, PP1, PP6)

CPMK 4

determine the meaning of figurative expression of idioms and phrasal verbs in the texts (S8, S9, KU1, KU2, KK1, PP1, PP6)

CPMK 5

draw conclusions from information given in the text (S8, S9, KU1, KU2, KK1, PP1, PP6)
