Course Descriptions

Engish Grammar 1 is the basic competence in constructing sentences. This subject discusses Simple Sentences involving the  elements of basic sentence patterns. Those elements are: tenses, voices, kinds of sentences (declarative, imperative, interrogatve, and exclamatory sentences), auxiliaries (Do, Be, and Modal auxiliaries). The aim of this lesson is to make the students be able to communicate in English both in spoken and written form. 

Learning Outcomes

After learning this lesson, the students are abe to:

1. identify the differentiate among phrase, clause, and sentence in simple form

2. identify the kinds of simple sentences both in positive and negative forms in different tenses

3. identify the simple tenses (simple present, and simple past form

4. identify the voices ( active or passive) in simple form in different tenses
